Mrs. Kubesh and Family. I was so sorry to hear of Mr. Kubesh's passing. As a young contract specialist for the government, one of my first contracts was with EMP. Mr. Kubesh taught me a lot about construction. And, it was always fun to talk to him about his football playing days. My deepest sympathies to you all.

John, Tom, and Pete-
I am so sorry about your loss. Your Dad was always supportive of your achievements whether they were on the football field, wrestling mat, or baseball diamond. I don't think he ever turned down an opportunity to help our local youth. And from reading comments, his giving far exceeded our county. Take care of your Mom, and each other.

My condolences to all the family. I remember sitting with Ron at a lot of wrestling matches. We had a great time watching "Our Boys" battle on the mat. Ron was a bear of a man physically, and a teddy bear at heart. We will all miss you Ron, and since we are both the same age, I look forward to seeing you "Up Yonder."

To Alice and the Kubesh family,

As a former football coach and member of the Athletic Department staff at the University of North Dakota, I was very fortunate to have had the opportunity to meet and get to know Ron Kubesh. He was an All-American linebacker on the football field, and he as an All-American man as well. It was so much fun to see the love and affection Ron shared with his former teammates when he came back to campus for Homecoming or other visits. Ron's passion for UND football included his generous support of an annual scholarship fund to be awarded to the outstanding linebacker at UND each season. The recipients of this award became members of an elite group, known as "The Kubesh Boys" to Ron. Ron and the members of this Sioux linebacker fraternity shared a deep mutual respect, and many of them have kept in touch with Ron over the years. Ron was a great man and he will be remembered and missed. My sympathies and prayers are extened to Alice and the Kubesh family.
