Margaretta Rainey Obituary

MARGARETTA B. RAINEY MORRIS TWP. Margaretta B. Rainey died at her home in Morris Twp. on October 12, 2010, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Jersey City, she lived in Morris Twp. since 1965. She was the Nursing Supervisor at the Morris View Nursing Home for over 20 years, retiring in 1990. Peggy was a devoted wife, mother and Nana-truly the center of her large and loving family, One of her greatest joys was her grandchildren and sharing in their many achievements. Peggy is predeceased by her husband, William. She is survived by her six children; Mark W. Rainey of Morristown, Kathleen R. Hughes and husband, Paul of Morris Twp., Maureen R. Bartuccio and husband, John of Egg Harbor Twp., NJ, Paul William Rainey of Morris Twp., Ann T. Billak and husband, Steve of Morris Twp., and Barbara J. Lubarda of Nesconset, NY. She is also survived by her 10 grandchildren, Kelly, Keith, Erin, Shannon, Renee, Chris, Brian, Daniel, Lauren, and James and a sister, Bernadette DeVoursney of Michigan. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Church of Christ the King, Blue Mill Rd., New Vernon, NJ on Monday at 9:30AM. Interment New Vernon Cemetery. Hours of visitation at the Doyle Funeral Home, 106 Maple Ave., Morristown on Sunday from 3-6 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Peggy's memory to American Cancer Society (PLEASE specify Breast Cancer Research) 7 Ridgedale Ave., Cedar Knolls, NJ www.cancer.org.
