as one of many of shirley's passengers on a roxbury township bus, and an indirect member of your family, i wish to extend my heartfelt sympathy at your immeasurable loss. when a child loses a parent, the two most comforting things are to know that suffering was minimized, and to be there to hold her hand. may you all find comfort in that, and with the love & support of your countless friends and family. my thoughts are
with you all.

All my sympathy to the family. I remember Mrs. Haggerty as my bus driver in ledgewood. She was always cheerful and kind. As A twelve year old I could even see that. God bless you Mrs. Haggerty on your final journy on bus 34.

Dear Betsy & Family,

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. Shirley was a special person, and I know losing her has to be hard on all of you. Since we moved out of Roxbury 8 years ago, it had been a long time since I'd seen her, and I didn't know she'd been ill.

I will keep you in my thoughts & prayers,

My deepest sympathy to the Haggerty family. I have fond memories of the "craft group" that met on Friday nights during the 1970's and 80's that Shirley spearheaded. She always had a good idea, a friendly smile and a kind word. God bless you all!
