Joseph Simien Obituary
GRAND COTEAU - A Memorial Service for Joseph Lee Simien, age 78, will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 29, 2014, in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel.
Joseph was a resident of Opelousas. Joseph enjoyed fishing, farming and painting in his spare time.
Survivors include his children, Lee Simien, Jr. of Canton, GA., Cheryl Simien of Fayetteville, GA., Debra Simien of Powder Springs, GA., Sally Broussard of Port Arthur, TX., brothers, Patrick Simien, of Sunset, Joseph Avie Simien, Terry Simien and Darris Simien all of Port Arthur, TX., sisters, Patricia Basden of Houston TX., Jane Martin of Katy, TX., four grandchildren, Brian Erkard, II, Charlisse Erkard, Stacey Simien, and Tracey Simien, and two great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Sr., and Bertha Chachere Simien, his wife, Charlene Williams Simien his son, Terry Lee Simien, brothers, Clarence Jr. and John Simien, sisters, Bonnie Simien, and Ophelia Perrodin.
Visiting hours will be observed in the Sibille Funeral Home of Grand Coteau on Saturday, March 29, 2014 beginning at 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.

We watched the news daily when Mr.Simien was missing and prayed that he would be found safe and well. We were saddened to hear of your loss.
