Guy Stuart Obituary
AGE: 81 • Newark
Guy F. Stuart, age 81, of Newark, DE, son of the late Guy and Marie Stuart, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family Thursday, October 6, 2016. He retired from Delmarva Power after 37 years of dedicated service. Guy was an avid Philadelphia sports fan. He looked forward to vacationing in Disney and at the Delaware beach. Guy could often be found enjoying old TV shows. He also enjoyed spending time with his son's dog, Ellie.
Guy is survived by his wife of 55 years, Mary Lou Stuart; and 2 sons, Scott F. Stuart and Jeffrey G. Stuart (Aimee).
A visitation will be held Wednesday, October 12, 2016 from 6-8 PM in the Strano & Feeley Family Funeral Home, 635 Churchmans Rd., Newark, DE 19702. Burial will be held privately with military honors at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please donate to the charity of your choice in Guy's memory. I am so sorry to hear of my cousin Guy's passing and want to send our condolences along to Marie. He was a great member of our extended family and had a unique wit and humor about him. I remember him best attending and livening up my Uncle Guy and Aunt Marie backyard cookouts long ago in Radnor Green, Claymont, at which all of our family members would attend three times each summer. I know that he was very fond of Disney World and their summer place near Rehoboth as he always talked about that when I did see him. He will be missed by our family.

Guy was like an Uncle to our girls, and a good friend that we just kinda thought of him and Marylou as family. We're so proud to call him our friend. Guy you will not be forgotten! We love you and your wonderful family. Don & Carole Barnes
