William V. "Bill" Snyder

PA - Bill passed away peacefully on November 20, 2017 with his family at his side. Bill was born June 1930 in Norristown, Pennsylvania and grew up outside of Kennett Square, PA. He was the son of the late William G. and Jennie Snyder.

Bill graduated from the University of Delaware with degrees in Organic Chemistry and Mathematics and was an emeritus member of the American Chemical Society. Bill had a 35 year career with the DuPont Company.

Bill is survived by his wife of 64 years, Jean (Mazzarelli), their two daughters, Bonnie (Barry) Pesci of Langhorne, PA Carole (Thomas) Nicholas of Orangeburg, South Carolina; granddaughter Lindsay (Andrew) Turk of Furlong, PA, grandson Matthew (Meghan) Pesci of Norcross, Georgia, great-granddaughter Adeline Pesci; and siblings Jean Moore, Dorothy Seldomridge, Shirley Scalise, Charles Snyder and Charmaine Everhart.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Olde Church of St. Andrew, 135 S.Sycamore Street, Newtown, PA 18940 at 10:00 AM. Family and friends are invited for visitation at 9:30 AM. Private inurnment will follow at Our Lady of Sorrows Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Alzheimer's Association Delaware Valley, 399 Market Street, Suite 102, Philadelphia, PA 19106.
