Charlotte Snyder Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Homes & Crematory - New Castle on Mar. 30, 2026.
Charlotte A. Snyder, age 77, passed away on March 13, 2026, in Wilmington, Delaware, just three days shy of her birthday.

Charlotte was educated at Christ Our King School and Ursuline Academy. She cherished her family heritage, with her paternal grandparents having emigrated from Germany and Switzerland before settling in Sayreville, New Jersey, in the early 1900s. She often spoke fondly of the many happy summers she and her brother Phil spent at their grandparents' home.

Charlotte had a deep devotion to her rosary and a special love for her beloved cats. She was a devoted daughter who lovingly cared for her mother for several years prior to her passing.

Charlotte was predeceased by her parents, August A. Snyder and Mary Kearney; brother, Philip K. Snyder; and her sister-in-law, Louise Curliss.

She is survived by her many cousins, nieces, and nephews, who reside in the Wilmington area as well as in Virginia, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, and Washington State.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, April 7, 2026 in All Saints Cemetery, 6001 Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington, Delaware.
