Frank Sadowski Obituary
AGE: 90 • Wilmington
Frank A Sadowski, age 90, of Wilmington, DE passed away peacefully on Friday, September 19, 2014.
Born and raised in Chester, PA, he graduated from St. James High School in 1942. He served in the Navy during World War II as an Electrician's Mate on the USS Current and was honorably discharged in 1946. He graduated from Pennsylvania Military College as an electrical engineer and then worked for E. I. DuPont de Nemours Company for 35+ years. He moved his family to Wilmington, DE in 1962, while working at Louviers, and joined the DuPont Country Club. He was a talented softball player and avid golfer.
Frank was preceded in death by the love of his life, Nina Goldy Sadowski. He leaves behind three children: Regina Webb Johnson of North East, MD, James "Jim" Sadowski of Lewes, DE, and Robert "Bert" Sadowski of Bishopville, MD. He was the proud grandfather of 6 grandchildren: James Ryan Webb, Linsey Webb Winkey, Eric Sadowski, Rachel Sadowski, Frank Sadowski and Robert Sadowski Jr.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, September 25, 2014 at 10:30 AM at St. Joseph's on the Brandywine Church, 10 Old Church Road, Wilmington, DE. Friends and family are invited to attend a viewing at church from 9:00 to 10:30 AM. Interment will follow in the adjoining cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Disabled American Veterans, PO Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH, 45250 or www.dav.org.

Regina and Jim, So very sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. "Frank & Art" were Oak Lane Manor carpool buddies for many years on their daily trips back and forth to Louviers. "Great Memories". God Bless. Mitch Hill

Regina, Linsey and family, May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. It sure looks like your Dad/Granddad had an interesting life and was quite accomplished in his day. I see the strong resemblance Regina! I hope you all carry on with good memories.
