Cheryl A. Pyne, age 55, of Dover, DE passed away peacefully at home on September 24, 2016.
A visitation for friends and family will be held on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 from 10:00 - 11:00am followed by a service at 11:00am at Daniels & Hutchison Funeral Home, 212 N. Broad St., Middletown, DE 19709. Burial will be private.

Mom,
It’s been 8 difficult years since you left me. I sometimes wonder what you must think up there in heaven about how everything has turned out, how people change, how people react and no longer care, but you always were the glue that held us all together. I’m happy that I know the true people that matter.
I’m working 2 jobs, going back to college to finish my degree and still working for a better life, learning to cope with these waves of ups and downs. Thank you for giving me a good life when you were here. I know you are at peace.

I send my deepest sympathies to all of Cheryl's family, her sisters & especially her children. Our friendship goes back many years, although not as close in recent years. Back in our days she was always smiling that big smile of hers, I remember such good times with her.especially her laughter. She was a smart, kind, and caring nurse too. She helped me greatly, early on in my nursing career, to become the dedicated, compassionate nurse I am today. I carry with me fond memories of us working hard and playing hard. On many occasions she even brought me into her family for various celebrations that I will always remember. It saddens me deeply that she has passed. I pray she is at peace now & comforted by her parents who I know she missed very much. As I am unable to attend today, please know that my thoughts & prayers are with you all at this difficult time.

No words can express how I felt when I heard about your passing Cheryl.

We are so sorry to hear about Cheryl and send our condolences to the entire family. Cheryl was a special person and I have a lot of great memories of when we were kids, from sledding down the driveway, driving in Cheryl's jeep, the pool and many others. She will be missed. Rest in peace.

To my mother:
It's with a heavy heart that I write this...
I love you very much. You were a great mother to me. You always had my back. Now you are in heaven. You are with your parents; Nanny and Pop along with your grandparents. I'm so very sad and miss you so much. But, I know you'd want me to celebrate your life and remember the fun times we shared together... To cherish the good moments we had. We used to love watching movies together and going to dinner at Mrs. Robinos. I know one day we will be reunited in spirit. I know you are trying to comfort me from where you are now; as an angel watching over me and guiding me.
The compassion you gave was undeniably strong. The care you had was immense. And in spirit I know that can't be broken. I know you need me to be strong, so I will do so. I will live on with our good memories. I will keep my head up and do my best in your honor.

We were each other's Rock and I'm blessed I can say I was with you through it all no matter what. You will forever always be in my mind body and soul through the winds and Suns of nature but not afar.
