James Owen Tagg, 75, died December 10, 2020, at Ohio State University Hospital in Columbus, Ohio after a brief illness. He was born July 20, 1945 at Jane M. Case Hospital in Delaware, Ohio, the son of Owen and Myrtle (Arndt) Tagg.
Jim graduated from Hayes High School, Class of 1963, where his closest neighbor and friend was Mike McBride who now resides in Texas. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and was a member/deacon of the Lutheran Church in Cambridge. He formed and became president of the Tagg Appraisal Service Inc. as he appraised properties all over eastern Ohio.
Jim is survived by his wife, Donna (Echols) Tagg of Zanesville, daughters Stephanie Bogard and Jennifer Remus of Michigan, his grandchildren Frank and Ashley Tagg of Zanesville, and one great-grandchild. He is also survived by his brother, Gary Owen Tagg (Pat) and his sister, Joann Massie (Ken) of Delaware, Ohio.
Jim's body was donated to science as his spirit "slipped the surly bonds of earth and touched the face of God".

Condolences to the family. I didn’t know Jim personally but knowing Gary I know he had to be a stand up guy. God bless.
