Marvin Marcak Obituary
The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 15, 2015, at Baca's Funeral Chapel, with Tom Austin officiating. Concluding services and interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery with military honors accorded.
He is preceded by his parents, Tom Marcak and Frances Marcak. Also preceded by his brother, Tommy Marcak and sister Frances Hirsch. Marvin is survived by his two brothers, James and Eddie Marcak, both of Deming. Marvin is also survived by his wife of 59 years, Virginia (Pelayo) Marcak, and his three children, Marvin Bradley Marcak, Terri Austin (Tom Austin), and Lori Molina (Daniel Molina). Marvin, or Papa, is also survived by his grandchildren Julian Molina (Lori), Nicole Marcak, Kristen Grado (William Grado), Tony Cabello (Yadira Marcak), Caitlin and Joshua Austin (Terri).
Our Dad was an amazing man who had farming in his blood. All his life was spent loving the land and watching things grow that he made. Our Dad loved his family and friends. Laughing and always joking, "If I pick on you that means I like you." He loved his home, his barn, tractor, playing cards and hard work. Seeing people smile from what he made in his barn made him smile, too. There will be a huge void now that Dad's gone. But he always taught us to fight for what we want. And his spirit is always here with us. Papa, we love you so much and you will be greatly missed.
