My dearest dad, I already miss you so much. It is selfish of me to want you here, I am thankful your long-time suffering is finally over and you are free of pain and suffering. I believe I will see you again. I know you will be with me always. I will miss your beautiful voice singing, now you are joined by the choir of Angels. I love you Dad. Prepare a place for me...till we meet again, your loving daughter, Donna.

We already knew the O'Haras having lived in the Ward for two years prior to moving across the street. As our trailer full of furniture backed into the driveway of our new home, there was Don in his wheelchair and a pitcher of lemonade balanced on his lap. He invited us over for goodies, too. I later found out that all the neighborhood kids had his "number", too. Anytime a sweet moment hit, they were ringing his doorbell in hopes he would offer them something to tide them over until mealtime. I saw him last week driving down the sidewalk on Wimbleton. He greeted me with his customary broad smile. I jumped out of the car just to get a good look at him and chatted for a minute. Hadn't seen him that well for a while. I told Lorne this morning that Don was probably jumping up and down right now saying, "Don't worry about me. Loook I can walk! It is beautiful here and I can hardly wait until you can be here, too." We love you very much, Lillian, and know how hard it is to let go. Even tho it is a cliche--he really is in a better place.

Rejoice, for you have returned to you heavenly Father! You will no longer endure any disability, handicap, pain and distress of death. Rest now my beloved friend, for today you are among your celestial family. I pray that peace comes to those that have remained here to finish their Father's work. Until we are reunited again, God Bless you and your family.
