Dave was the best grandpa I know! He was a fixture out at the Lacey Rec Complex in Oskaloosa watching all of his grandsons' baseball games during the spring time, along with Sherrie. He also was at every Indian Hills softball game I've attended, perched at the top of the hill in his lawn chair, cheering on his daughter-in-law's team. He seemed to always find time to attend whatever activity his grand kids were participating in. His presence will be sorely missed by all of us parents who had the opportunity to chat with him at these events. His pride of his family was evident and rightfully so! He was a blessed man and raised an amazing family who I'm lucky enough to know. Our thoughts and prayers are with Sherrie, Dave & Laura and their boys and Steph & Mike and their kids in this difficult time.
