Gerald Pierce Obituary
Adel - Jerry Pierce, 70 of Adel, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at Mercy Medical Center Downtown Des Moines.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, December 17, 2018 at Panther Creek Church of the Brethren near Adel with burial at Oakdale Cemetery in Adel. Family will greet friends Sunday, December 16, 2018 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home - McCalley Chapel in Adel.
Jerry was born November 25, 1948 in Lansing, Iowa to Donald and Opal Pierce. He graduated from Adel High School and worked as a sales rep for Moehl Millwork for over forty years.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Lora; children, Connie (Brant) Kaufman, Brad (Tammy) Pierce, Hailee Pierce and Kacey Pierce; seven grandchildren; one great grandchild; and seven siblings.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Scott; grandson, Justin; and three sisters.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the family who will be donating the contributions to a charitable cause. Online condolences may be left at www.caldwellparrish.com.

Keith and I were sadden to hear about Jerry. He was one of the nicest guys. Keith enjoyed the fast pitch softball years which hold wonderful memories.
