It is with sorrow to hear of Huelyn's passing, and send deepest condolences to his dear family. I met Huelyn thru the joy of a common hobby we shared as classic car enthusiasts. I am so thankful for the opportunity to have met Huelyn and for his friendship. I will certainly miss him, and our long talks over cars. With deepest sympathy and may you rest in peace Huelyn.

He was such a great entertainer and it was an incredible honor and pleasure to meet him twice. I am sure that all of his fans and audience will second that. His music will live on!

Huelyn was a great friend. Have known him, Sandy and the girls for years. Mr heart hurts for my loss, but really goes out to Sandy, Leah and Dee Dee. My prayers are going up daily for all of you. Don't know the grand kids well, but heard plenty about you from your grandmother. May you all rest in God's peace in the days, weeks and months to come. Will miss a great man.

We Rockabilly/Rock n Roll fans lost another legend. However, thats nothing compared to the loss felt by his family and friends. So I send all of them my most heartfelt condolences. Thank you for sharing him with the rest of the world so we could enjoy the greatness of his music. Ill continue to play it for the remainder of my days! Rest In Peace, Mr. Duvall!

Our condolences to Sandy and family. My boys established a pen pal relationship with Mr. Duvall, based on their love of his music and the 50s lifestyle. He reciprocated by sending them CDs of his music and a personally recorded cassette of him singing for them. Around that time, I was in the Fort Worth area on a business trip. I called him and, without ever having met me, invited me into his home. He gave an acoustic concert and entertained me in his garage/den. He and his wife Sandy then took me to dinner in a local restaurant. Ill never forget that amazing experience. I was hoping to return the hospitality, should he ever visit California. Not only an incredibly talented performer/icon, but a true gentleman. The epitome of class.

Huelyn had many fans around the world and I was proud to be one of them. I am grateful that I had an opportunity to get to know and work with him for many years.
