Clyde J. Van Winkle was born March 18, 1924, in Kansas City, Mo., to Clyde and Nora Van Winkle. He was an avid golfer and liked bowling, but loved country music and dancing. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Clyde was a Mason. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister and brother.
Survivors: Spouse of 57 years, Doris M. Van Winkle; son, Alan C. Van Winkle; sister, Helen Roberts and husband, Neal; grandchildren, Taylor Ann, Nathan and Terrell Van Winkle; seven nephews; one sister-in-law; two brothers-in-law; extended family; and many friends.
