William Irwin Obituary
1946 - 2018
William A. Irwin "Captain Bill", age 72, of Powell, OH passed away peacefully at his home on July 20, 2018 surrounded by his wife and daughters. William graduated from Whetstone High School, was a proud member of the U.S. Marines, and a distinguished employee of Nationwide Insurance. He is preceded in death by: parents, Robert and Monabelle Irwin; son, Marshall Irwin; and brother-in-law, Raymond Shealy. Bill is survived by his wife of 30 years, Debbie Irwin; daughters, Tiffany (Chris) Irwin, Brooke (Dan) Murphy, Colleen (Andy) Miedema, and Morgan Irwin; grandchildren, Andrew, Lauren and Piper; siblings, Robert (Jane) Irwin, Beverly Shealy, Louann (Deb) Irwin; numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and his dog, Emma. A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 pm Friday, July 27, 2018 at RUTHERFORD FUNERAL HOME AT POWELL, 450 W. Olentangy St., Powell, OH 43065 with visitation from 1:00 to 3:00 pm prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Bill's honor to Veterans Affairs.
