Well, this surprised me showing up in my email this morning, but I do not need a reminder of Johnny. We think of him nearly daily! He was such an important part of our lives. The camp which we started along with him has survived many trials and is still bringing new young folks to God all the time. ( This year's camp will be the 64th!) --and I think of you fondly , Johnny, every time I pass by my wonderful stained glass windows you made for me. Such a joy!--as you were.Love always, Janny ( Boonie, too)

Uncle Johnny is a wonderful man. I never saw him angry nor even upset. It was always fun to visit the Selveys because Uncle Johnny always gave us laughs. I married someone who gives me laughs and I thank you, Uncle Johnny, for getting me to know that a good person who can help others laugh is one of the important things in life. I and my family will surely miss you, but you are alive in our hearts. Give Aunt Gini our love and tell Mother and Daddy we miss them every day.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by God, also by the words in the Bible at Philemon 4-7 along with the support and love of your family and friends.

"And now may the courage of the early morning's dawning, the strength of the eternal hills & winding streams, the peace of evening's ending--the midnight hour--the love of God and the power of the living Christ; may all of these graces & blessings be yours--now and forever more." Gone from this life but your words & essence will continue to resonate with us.
