Bruce Smith Obituary

Smith Bruce "Pat" Smith, age 52, passed away surrounded by his family August 10, 2014 at home after courageous battle with cancer. Born June 9, 1962 in Arlington Heights, IL. He worked for Certified Oil Co. for 17 years and later Columbus Worthington Air until his illness. Member of the NRA and ASPCA. Preceded in death by his father Robert H. Smith, grandparents Benjamin and Leona Neville and Avis M. Ayers. Survived by his mother, Mary; sister, Theresa Walcutt of Dublin; brothers, Timothy (Marti) of Florida and Scott Smith of Illinois; numerous nieces, nephews relatives and friends including partner of over 20 years, Cathy Edington. Friends may call 4-7 p.m. Wednesday at the EGAN-RYAN NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 4661 Kenny Rd. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Andrew Church, 1899 McCoy Rd. Burial Dublin Cemetery. Friends who wish may contribute in his memory to Gentiva Hospice, 540 Officecenter Pl., Suite 100, Gahanna, OH 43230.
