Mary Masako Hayashi

Lodi, CA
Mary Masako Hayashi passed away peacefully at home on May 12, 2014 in Lodi at the age of 86.
Born in Sacramento to Shiro and Mitsuno Kawamura, she grew up In El Campo and lived many years in San Francisco, Berkeley, Alameda, San Jose and Lodi. She had a lifelong love of sports and enjoyed bowling and golfing. She was a member of Woodbridge Golf and Country Club. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother: Mitzi (Paul) and Mari, stepmother: Joyce (Steve), Mas (Rosa), and Christine (Arnold), sister: Sam (Yuri), cousin, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and great-aunt to many.
She was preceded in death by her husband Mitsuru Ikeda, son Michael Y. Ikeda, brother Jun Kawamura, sister Lillie Ushijima, and husband Shigeo Hayashi. A private memorial service to celebrate her life will take place at 11:00 am on Saturday, June 21, 2014 at Temple Baptist Church, 801 South Lower Sacramento Rd., Lodi, CA.
In Lieu of Flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Temple Baptist Church or to the charity of the donor's choice.
