Hildegard KROPFREITER Obituary
September 3, 1914 - May 31, 2017
With an abiding sense of grief, the family of Hildegard (Hilde) Kropfreiter announce her death on May 31, 2017, at the age of 102 years after a long and eventful life.
She leaves to appreciate her strong will and steadfast love her daughters, Wilma Kurz, Edith (Bob) Pettie and Helena Green; son, Fritz (Kitti) Kropfreiter; her well loved grandchildren, Gabi, Shauna (Greg), James, Michelle (Brian), Tom (Joanne), Kim (Rob) and great-grandchildren, Stefan, Connie, Mariah, Rowan and Sydney.
Apart from people, she loved flowers, gardening, photography, and cooking. She was fiercely independent and would fight tooth and claw for the welfare and protection of her family.
A special thanks to the staff of Unit 3B of CapitalCare Dickinsfield for their loving and thoughtful care and invaluable assistance.
A Celebration of Hildegard's Life will take place on Sunday, June 11 at 1:00 p.m. at Park Memorial Chapel, 9709-111 Avenue, Edmonton, AB. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to a charity of your choice.

Fritz, Kitti and Family: What wonderful memories you must have of your Mother after such a fulfilled life. Besides being a Mom, I'm sure she was a marvelous Grandmother as well. Hugs, Prayers and Blessings for all the love she brought your way.
