YAREMCHUK, Mary
In the mid-morning of January 7, 2018, Mary Anastasia Yaremchuk of Edmonton, formerly of Vegreville, AB, passed away at the age of 97 years.
Mary will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by her daughter, Linda and her husband, Steven Thies. Mary is also survived by her sister-in-law, Vicky Yaremchuk; and many cherished nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Paul Yaremchuk (2003); parents, Anastasia and Leon Boida; brothers and sisters-in-law, Alexander (Rose), John (Anne), Elia (Ollie) and Fred Boida.
Mary was born in Morecambe, AB on May 9, 1920. She lived a full life filled with love, faith and dedication to her family. Her cooking skills and beautiful dinners were enjoyed by many. Mary and Paul excelled in their love of gardening, which was passed on to their daughter, Linda. Even though her mobility was challenged in the past few years, she remained positive about the world around her and persevered.
Memorial Service Monday, January 15 at 11:00 a.m. at Park Memorial Chapel, 9709 – 111 Avenue, Edmonton. Pastor John Wesley officiating with inurnment in Evergreen Memorial Gardens, 16102 Fort Road. In lieu of other tributes, and for Mary's great love of cats, a donation in Mary's name may be made to the Alberta SPCA, 17904 – 118 Avenue, Edmonton, AB T5S 2W3.

As a friend of Lin's, I remember Mary's laugh. Lin could make her laugh. She was so kind to me and my family and made me feel part of her world. What a beautiful life lived.
