I would just like to say that Dallas, even to this day is still not forgotten. I knew him through social media and his following on DeviantArt. And I know I didn´t know him too personally, but I was inspired by him.

He was one of the community. An artist and an online friend. I still pray for him and his soul that he finds rest and peace. The special needs program I run even today has his name in our prayer box and we pray for him and many others every day. So to the family; my deepest condolences, and for your son; may his soul find peace in everlasting life.

To the family:

Like many signing, I never knew Dallas personally. Years ago, I followed him on DeviantArt and ended up finding his Youtube channel.

He brought beauty to others through his work. And through his videos, a glimpse of a bright, charismatic young person who had so much to offer. I know it may mean little from a stranger of the web, but the truth is Dallas inspired many and he managed to ingrain himself and his work into our thoughts.

I pray he has found peace. And my belated condolence. Be well and be blessed with happiness and health.

Just now I was just looking up his name to visit his DeviantArt page. I used to browse his gallery about 8 or 9 years ago. I just recently discovered this when browsing search results. I'm appalled to discover this happened. His art will continue to live on. He was a total inspiration to me and my photography career path. May he rest in paradise.

I had the pleasure of seeing his videos on YouTube. I only recently found out about his sudden passing. I just want to say that I am very thankful that he was there for me during a time of my life when I really needed his positivity and joyful videos. His photography was truly beautiful and his smile could brighten any sad emotions I was feeling. Even now I watched his pie throwing video and laugh. If I could speak to him I would tell him how thankful I am to him. I'm so sorry for his family and close friends' loss. He will never be forgotten.

I'm so shocked to learn this. His photography inspired me so much to continue on. My heart goes out to the family. Much too young to be gone.

To the parents of Dallas Harder,

When I was 17, I found your son's work online and was immediately blown away and completely inspired. Now, I am 21 and I still remember his work. I went to Google his name to admire his work for the millionth time and found this obituary. I've never met Dallas but I can say I'm heartbroken. Such a terrible loss. I'm sending my love from America. His legacy will go on.

I just learned the death of your son Dallas Ray Harder. I was a big fan of his work. Receive my most sincere condolences even if these poor words certainly cannot comfort you, I hope that they will ease your pain. I also enclose this text on mourning.
"Go away from this fall , do not cry ,
I 'm not here , I do not sleep .
I am the wind blowing from all walks
I am the diamond that sparkles in the snow
I am the sunlight on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain ,
Morning in the whirlwind of awakening,
I am the light and exhilarating flight of birds,
That rotate slowly in the sky.
I am the stars that shine at night.
Do not sit there at my grave to weep ,
I 'm not here , I 'm not dead . "

I was greatly saddened to hear of the loss of Dallas. He was an amazing young man. I only had the privilege of knowing him for a very short time through teaching at Lakeland Ridge School. I know he will be remembered for his beauty in his actions, his art, his soul.

Dear Darren and Lisa,
I had the honor of knowing Dallas while he was at Lakeland and teaching him in junior high science. His heart warming smile and quiet gentle nature comes to mind when I think of him. My science room was often filled with laughter from the back corner where Dallas and his friends would be telling stories of their adventures. He loved his friends so much! I will cherish his hug and high 5... And his smile I received from him on his grade 9 farewell.

Although it doesn't make it any easier, please know that he touched so many lives, including mine and will live in many hearts for years to come

Words cannot express how sorry we are of your loss of Dallas. He and Natalie spent a lot of time together during the Junior High years, doing photo shoots, making videos, and throwing coconut cream pies at one another in the backyard.:) He was kind and sweet and cared for others. He will be missed!

Dear Darren and Lisa- my heart is so heavy and I have been thinking so much about your family. Dallas was and will always be one of my very favourite students from LLR school. I loved his sweet nature and art talent. He gave me a large self-portrait photo image that I had displayed in my art room; I was so touched. Know that he made a difference in my classroom.
