Cynthia Crawford Obituary

Cynthia "Cyndi" Marie Crawford, nee Franek, 57, Washington, passed away Monday, Dec. 7, 2020, at Missouri Baptist Medical Center, St. Louis.

Cyndi was born Jan. 20, 1963, in St. Louis, to Wayne and Sharon Franek. She attended Pacific High School, Southeast Missouri State University and East Central College. She worked for Barnes-Jewish Hospital as a trauma registrar for the last five years. She was a longtime parishioner of St. Francis Borgia Parish and was a choir member. Cyndi had a zest for life, infectious smile, bold personality, memorable laugh and a voice that projected to the heavens. She enjoyed fishing with Tony on their boat, crafting, sewing, cooking, baking, cake decorating and her puppy, Zoey. She loved her family fiercely. This sudden, devastating loss has left a tremendous hole in the hearts of every person who knew Cyndi.

Cyndi is survived by her beloved husband of 24 years, Tony Crawford, Washington, formerly of Eureka. She was the loving mother of Aaron and Beth (King) Klaser, Leander, Texas, formerly of Washington, Clayton and Amanda (Brandon) Crawford, Florissant, formerly of Washington, and Zachary Crawford, Washington; cherished grandmother to Ginni and Aubrey Klaser; devoted daughter to Sharon Franek-Seiberlich and Frank Seiberlich, Washington; dear daughter-in-law to Gary and Linda (Kirby) Crawford, Florissant; dearest sister to Wayne (Karen Conduitt) Franek Jr., Brian and Dawn (Worthing) Franek, all of Pacific, and Stephanie Franek, Washington, formerly of Pacific; dear sister-in-law to Rhonda (Crawford) and Mike Jones, Steve and Johanna (Shaw) Crawford, all of Florissant; treasured aunt to Amber Franek, Brittney Franek, Josh Franek, Morgan Baumgarth, Samantha Jones, Alyzabeth Jones, Dylan Crawford and Chloe Crawford; and friend to so very many.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Norbert and Bernice Franek, Gray Summit, and William and May Seib, Lemay; her former husband, Thom Klaser; father, Wayne Franek Sr.; and nephew, Peyton Baumgarth.
