Christine Palas Obituary

Christine Marie Palas Christine Marie Palas, 40, of Erie, died Tuesday, May 3, 2005, at Hamot Medical Center. She was born November 11, 1964, daughter of Marie Rapp Palas and the late Theodore F. Palas. She was a member of the Sunflower Club. She enjoyed reading, playing games and spending time with her nieces and nephews. She also wrote poetry and had a poem published. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by one brother, Theodore Frank Palaszewski, Jr. Survivors include her mother, Marie (Rapp) Palas of Erie, three brothers, Christopher Palaszewski and wife Cheryl, Matthew Palas and wife Linda both of Erie, Andrew Palas and wife Season of Hayes, Va., one sister, Laura Anderson and husband Michael of Erie, two aunts, Marilyn Widomski and Theresa Carrick both of Erie. Also survived by many nieces, nephess, cousins and additional aunts and uncles. Relatives and friends may call at the Edward J. Garr Funeral Home, 459 East 12th Street, Erie, PA 16503, Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be at the funeral home Saturday at 10:30 a.m. followed by a mass of Christian burial at 11:00 at Holy Family Catholic Church. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family c/o Edward J. Garr Funeral Home, 459 East 12th Street, Erie, PA 16503. Please accept by heartfelt condolences with the loss of Chrissy. I remember her a bubbly loving young girl. Never to complain, she was truly a very special person. She has touched a lot of hearts and will forever be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time.
