Dennis Hollarn Obituary
Dennis was a 1961 graduate of Harbor Creek High School and attended William and Mary College. He began his career as a New York Life Insurance Agent and established the Hollarn and Associates Co. in 1986, where he brokered from many insurance companies. Dennis was a member of the Million Dollar Round Table. He was a member of Our Lady of Mercy R.C. Church.
Dennis was involved with Scout Troop #151 for 17 years. He worked on the Planning Commission for Harborcreek Township. He was a member of the Siebenbuerger, East Erie Moose, and Erie Maennerchor Club and was formerly a member of the Knights of Columbus. Dennis loved the outdoors, and enjoyed fishing, hunting and outside projects at his home. When he had a CB radio, he was known by the handle, "The Woodcutter."
Dennis is survived by his wife of 52 years, Jean Hollarn; five children, Dennis J. Hollarn II, Tarasia Maguire, Thomas Hollarn (Karen), Michael Hollarn (Marcia Lynch) and Michelle Winans (Casey); one brother, Thomas Hollarn (Pat); 13 grandchildren, Mackenzie, Kahla, Caitlin, Sarah, Rayna, Dennis, Abby, Rachel, Taylor, Michael, Taryn, Aliyah and Cooper; and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral Home, Inc., 2607 Buffalo Rd., on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and are invited to attend a Funeral Mass on Monday at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Mercy R.C. Church. Interment is at Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be designated to Our Lady of Mercy R.C. Church, 837 Bartlett Road, Harborcreek, PA 16421.

I am so very sorry for your loss, Mrs. Hollarn. My Mom, Marilyn Sliker Martin, worked for Dennis, on and off for years. I last saw Dennis at my Mom's viewing September of last year. He was always such a very nice man. May you find comfort in knowing that he is no longer suffering. I know my Mom was there to greet him! You all are in my thoughts and prayers.
