I knew Ike when I flew with him as one of his flight instructors at Devner Field back in 1977. I will always remember his personal kindness to us. He will be missed. May God be with you and your family.

I am an employee of Staff Music and Amusements, and I just wanted to say that Ike was a great man, and it was an honor for me to have known him. He always had a way of letting all of us employees know how special each and every one of us was, and he was always quick to thank us for our service to the company. He will be sorely missed, but we should find comfort in the fact that he knew the Lord, and I know he now has his place among the angels. Lets keep the family and friends in prayer, so that the God of all comfort may sustain them in this difficult time.

I had the pleasure of working for Ike for many years. I first worked for him in 1955 at Morrison Vending service. He was employed by Alan Morrison who was good enough to loan me and many other employees the money to buy our first homes in Hanover. He was a very honest and fair person. Later I electrically automated Wege Pretzel plant as John Murphy did the mechanical and millwriting at that location on Blettner Ave in town. He was very cooperative supplying necessary items to do that job. I many times recall my youth working for Ike and thank God for such a fair employer.

Arleen and family:

We are so shocked and suprised by the sudden death of Eik. My husband Mike Graf worked for Eike for years, and when we moved to NC, we always took the time to stop in the shop to see him. My last vist was when we were up in April and we saw you all at Wendy's, Eike gave me a kiss on the check, which he never had done before. What a lasting impression. Please know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers, and we wish we could be there to support you during this difficult time. He will be surly missed.

Love and prayers,
Pam and Mike

I got the pleasure to meet Mr Laughman a few years ago when I contacted him to find out some Reed family history and to my surprise he walked and reminded so much of my grandpa (Well I guess since his mother and my great grandfather were brother and sister its possible) He was extremely nice and showed my aunt and I around Weges and then showed us his jukeboxes etc. The last time I saw him was at my Grandfathers funeral 2 years ago and he still remembered me after only meeting once prior. So I am sadden to hear of your loss and I am positive he will be greatly missed. God Bless!
