Pastor's teachings, words of wisdom and encouragement will live in the hearts and minds of me and Pharrell forever. We love you and will miss you. It feels like we lost a grand dad rather than just a friend. Farewell and enjoy inside the gates of heaven.

Condolences to the Frink Family. Cleave was divinely driven by his passion for life and for others. Conscientious giving his all for the betterment of mankind of all races and creed. We were BCC colleagues and he delivered 100% to students, faculty and staff. Always smiling and giving a kind word. We know he’s rejoicing around the throne of God and cheering us on to finish our race so that we get to join him and all the other great cloud of witnesses.

Cleave was my colleague, teaching in the high schools. We spent much time in conversation about education, music, history and many other topics. Cleave always had an original view of the world and he was dedicated to improving the lives of everyone around him. He was nearly always smiling yet could stare down any student and make them work. I wish I could see him again, getting into his van, and driving off with a "See ya later, man!"

I worked with Cleve back in the 1980’s at Harris. He was always smiling, and always had a kind word for others. My deepest sympathy goes out to his family and friends.

Wow, what a great man Cleave Frink was. He was always such a gentleman when he subbed for me at MHS. He took great notes for my teachers and always left in detail how the day went. I could always count on Cleave to come any time I needed him, even if Mrs. Frink had a honey do list for him. He would rearrange his schedule so he could do it all. I loved Cleave and have missed him this year as I retired last year early to keep my newest granddaughter. Thank you for your service to MHS, our community and our country.

The role of caregiver can come about expectedly or thrust upon someone suddenly. It is a role that is guided by the heart and done out of love, with the caregiver’s best interests at heart. They can get overlooked with all of the tasks that must be completed, as the citizens concerns remain a top priority. It is important to recognize and remember our caregivers and they are appreciated for their patience and compassion. I would like to use this message to acknowledge a gentleman who has offered himself to the citizens of Melbourne and their loved ones in hopes of providing comfort and safety. With the caregiver best interests at heart they can get overlooked with all of the tasks that must be completed. Words alone can never truly express my sincere and heartfelt thanks to Rev. Cleave S. Frink Sr. who has been in my life to give me encouragement throughout the years as a friend and contributed himself unselfishly in my career in law enforcement. I've been so blessed! It's encouraging to know that we definitely have a community of care/supports that has embraced him in his journey. Rev. Frink was instrumental in Melbourne Police/Community Relation Council (MPCRC). He believed that Community Service Raises Social Awareness
Volunteering or community service provides you with a perfect opportunity to become closer to the community you live in. Community service broadens your horizons by helping you understand the needs of the society and the population you are trying to help through the project you are volunteering on. Reading or hearing about issues is not quite the same as getting personally involved. It brings you closer to families and individuals in need, gives you firsthand experience and understanding of the conditions they are in. He was much more than an acquaintance to me, he was a dear and close friend that will on in my heart to eternity. R.I.P. PEACE MY FRIEND!!

I had the privilege of serving on the Brevard County Personnel Council with Cleve and always enjoyed talking with him when we shared a lunch table during a break in our meeting sessions. He was a true gentleman and a kindly and wise soul. Great sense of humor and a string voice of reason. He will be greatly missed. RIP dear man.
