Dorothy,
I am so very sorry for your loss. I am glad that I got to know Doug over the years. He was a preacher that could really preach the gospel. There are only a few preachers that really told the message like he did. Everyone that heard his voice was touched by the Lord whether they realized it or not. I know it will be difficult at times but with God's help you will make it through. God Bless you and your family.

Our hearts was saddened to hear of Doug passing away, but he went to his heavenly home that he has so many times preached to us about. I know he wouldn't want us to be saddened but to be happy, and keep on being a great servant for the Lord. Even though we wasn't members at prospect at the time Doug was there, but regularly attended, we still looked at him as being our pastor. He was a man that we loved and Dorthy was the model pastors wife, nevering showing any partial to anyone, but treating every one with her love and compasion. I'm sooooo thankful that I got to sing for Doug one last time in the nursing home. It meant so much to me to see how it blessed him. Doug is going to be greatly missed, but his memories will live on in our hearts. Our hearts go out to Dorthy, and all the family. We love you all dearly, and will always keep you in our thoughts and prayers.

Mrs. Collins, Tim & Mitchell, I'm so sorry to hear about Rev. Collins. I can remember when both of my grandparents & uncle died. He did such a great service & the Lord was truly working through him to help the family. I'm sure that they are all walking together in God's garden. I know you will miss him, but remember that he is with you in all you do.

As I know you are all saddened, what a legacy you have to smile about...Doug had a many of prayer with my dad through his lifetime and supported him faithfully in the lowest of his lowest. Your husband, father, grandad, friend and minister will always have a special place in my memories and heart...Thank you for supporting him in his ministery and sharing him with all of us....I am the daughter of Larry Millwood and was blessed that the Lord seen fit for Doug to speak at dads funeral..I can't imagine the burden of speaking at the funeral of your friends, neighbors, family and all those you have grown up with and around...It takes a special person and you can proudly say your Doug was that person...His Strong FAITH was just a beacon of a light of the man he served... May God continue to be with you all...You are in our prayers as well...Tammy Harrison
