Frank Fay Obituary

ALTON - Frank Robert Fay, 64, of Riverside Drive passed peacefully, Monday, July 6th, 2015, after fighting a heroic battle with cancer. Born in Nashua, N.H., December 17, 1950, the son of the late Robert Fay and (Loretta) Campbell Fay. He spent his childhood and young adult life in Lowell, Mass., while summering in Alton Bay, N.H. Frank was a devoted and loving husband.

After serving in the United States NAVY, Frank worked as an independent contractor. He had many pastimes and was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping. Frank also enjoyed classic cars and was known for his various, "eye-catching" rides. Other hobbies include riding motorcycles, scuba diving, boating, water skiing, wood working, and spending time with friends.

A Member of the American Legion Post #7 of Rochester and Post #72 of Alton.

Frank was a kind and generous man who left a lasting impression everywhere he went. His bright smile, laugh, and positive attitude was infectious to those around him. He was always there when someone needed a helping hand or to listen and provide wisdom in a calm manner. His humor and ability to make those around him smile was unmatched.

Survived by his wife of 17 years: Janice M. (Taylor) Fay of Alton, NH, his stepdaughter: Charlotte French of Epsom, N.H., and his nephew: John and Keri Bemis of Taunton, Mass., and many close friends in the Alton and surrounding communities.

The family would like to thank every one for their continued support and love during such a difficult time.

SERVICES: Calling hours are Thursday from 5-8 p.m. at Peaslee Funeral Home 24 Central Street Farmington, N.H. Contributions in his memory may be made to the American Cancer Society. To express online condolences please visit: www.peasleefuneralhome.com
