BARRINGTON, N.H.- Carl James Bodge, 82, of 508 Beauty Hill Road died Tues., Mar. 1, 2016, at his daughter's home in Middleton, N.H., after a period of failing health.

He was born Feb. 6, 1934, in Manchester, N.H., the son of the late James Carl and Marie (Warren) Bodge.

He has resided in this area most of his life and was a graduate of Spaulding High School. Carl served in the U.S. Air Force from 1953-1957 then worked many years at Davidson Rubber in Dover for 37 years in industrial maintenance. He enjoyed researching health issues and cars. Carl was a true patriot who loved his country.

Members of his family include sons, Michael and Ronald of Barrington, N.H., Carl A. and Alan both of Rochester; daughter, Linda Randlett of Middleton; 12 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; sister, Marilyn Shaw of Manchester; two nieces and two nephews.

SERVICES: A memorial service will be held Sat., Mar.12, 2016, in the chapel of the R.M. Edgerly & Son Funeral Home, 86 South Main Street, Rochester, N.H.
