JAMES CLIFFORD BOWER JR.

On Friday, February 7, 2014 James Clifford Bower Jr. "Cliff" departed this life at his home in Damascus, MD. He was preceded in death by his loving mother Evelyn Burdette Bower. He is survived by his wife Carol, his sons Brandon and Marcus, step-son Jason, his beloved granddaughter Adriana, his father James (Cliff) Sr., brothers Tommy and Ronnie, his mother and father-in-law, three sisters-in-law, one brother-in-law, one godson, a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, many relatives and friends. The viewing will be held 7-9 p.m. Sunday February 16, at Molesworth-Williams Funeral Home, 26401 Ridge Rd., Damascus, MD. Viewing will again be held at 10:00 and Funeral services will begin 11:00 a.m. Monday February 17at Damascus United Methodist Church , 9700 New Church St. Damascus, MD. Interment will follow at Boyds Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.molesworthwilliams.com

Countless memories will remain in our hearts as to the amazing man Cliff Bower was. His kindness, infectious smile and loving manor touched so many and will always be remembered. Our hearts break for the Bower family and the loss they have to live, but will remain at peace as they now have a beautiful angel looking over them for eternity.

It's been years since I've spoken to the family but I always remember Mr.Bower as a wonderful man. He once spent the majority of his day paving his drive way so that I would always have a place to park when I came over to his home. It is the little memories that people leave behind that show their character and that leave lasting thoughts in our minds. I send my deepest condolences and pray for his family. May his soul rest in peace.
