Maurice Farhat Obituary
MAURICE Clearwater, Florida was born in Lansing, Michigan on July 30 1933. He was a graduate of St Mary Cathedral High School, Lansing, Michigan 1952. He honorably served in the U.S. Army during the Korean crisis and returned to active duty as a member of the special forces at the beginning of the Vietnam war. Survivors include his children Linda Farhat, Maria Theresa Farhat, Gordon Farhat, Kevin Farhat and Rose Mary Farhat Goodson and his grandchildren Alexandria Gullage, Michael Gullage, Anthony Farhat, Matthew Goodson, brothers Ralph (Delilah) and John (Salli) Farhat, brothers-in-law Paul Kramer and George Mansour and sister-in-law Marina DiGregorio (Norman) Farhat several cousins and many nieces and nephews. Mr Farhat was preceded in death by his parents Joseph A. and Ida Mary (Nouhan) Farhat and brothers and sisters Joseph A. Farhat Jr,. Leo A. Farhat, Norman C. Farhat, Kathryn Kramer, Mariann Farhat, Gloria Mansour, Cecelia Farhat and Virginia M. Farhat. A memorial service will be announced at a future date to be held at St Mary Cathedral, 219 Seymour Ave Lansing, MI 48933. His nephews his excellency the most reverend Gregory John Mansour, Gregory Mansour of the Eparchy of St, Maron Brooklyn, New York and Father Vincent Farhat will officiate.
