Alfred Eugene Coker Obituary
Alfred Eugene Coker, 90, known as Gene, husband to Mary Brennan, passed in their Oakwood home, Dec. 28, 2018.
Geologist, artist, Quinlan contributor, life-long philosopher, USMC Vet, and member of Palaver. He walked Gainesville College's track every morning, rain or shine, and engaged everyone.
He is survived by three siblings, Barbara Allison, Joyce Strickland, Lyman; and brother Hamilton's wife, Betty; also by nine children: Nina Richards, Zane, Lea Barney, and Felicia Hensley; and Mike, Tim, Kathleen King, JJ and Jack Brennan; and 16 grandchildren.
A Memorial Gathering is Saturday, Feb. 2, 2019, 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. in Elachee Nature Center.

I am sorry to see that you lost Gene.
You and He made such a fine couple.
And, I regret I didn't see this notice until this morning, as I would have attended the memorial on Saturday to honor both him and you.
