Mrs. Coker, 88, of Oakdale, entered eternal rest on Friday, March 6, 2026, in Allen Oaks Nursing Home, Oakdale, LA.

She will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother who devoted her life to caring for her family. She found great joy in gardening and took pride in cooking meals for all those she loved, always bringing people together around her table. Her kindness, warmth, and nurturing spirit touched everyone who knew her. She also shared a special bond with her beloved companion, Pepé, who brought her much comfort and happiness. Her love, generosity, and the memories she created with family and friends will be cherished forever. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her son, Terry Doyle; and her parents, Howard Latour and Enola Soileau.

Those left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory are her three sons, Norman "Bobby" Corliss of Oakdale, Michael Corliss of Lake Charles, and Chad Doyle (Alison) of Oakdale; one daughter, Victoria "Vicki" Thigpen (Cecil) of Oakdale; one sister, Dean Wilson of Lafayette; eleven grandchildren, Kristy, Mika, Amber, Christopher, Jade, Garrett, Brennan, Brandon, Hunter, Dustin, and Lacey; twenty-four great grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; and one daughter-in-law, Paula Corliss of Oakdale.

A time of visitation will be held at Christ Church, Oakdale, on Monday, March 9, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Visitation will resume at the church on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at 8:00 a.m. until time of service.
