Nickie D. (Tolar) Burton, 72, of Galion, passed away Tuesday, May 18, 2021, at Galion Pointe.
She was born January 11, 1949, in Grayson, Kentucky, and was the daughter of Hampton "Nick" and Burnetta (Triplett) Tolar. On December 10, 1983, she married her husband, Bobby Burton, and he survives.
Nickie was a Christian and attended several local churches. She was an avid reader and enjoyed flower gardening, camping and spending time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by sons, Aaron (Kim) Fox-Ivy of Galion, Darrin Fox of Bucyrus, and Gary Fox of Galion; six grandchildren, Caleb Ivy, Cassidy (Michael) Nall, Bree (Jesse) Butler, Nicholas (Alica Hoffman) Fox, Garrett Fox, and Megan (Willy) Dean; five great-grandchilren, Lincoln Dean, Avaiah Dean, Peyton Lyons, Skylar Fox, and Aurora Butler; brother, Garry (Michelle) Tolar of Chesterfield, Michigan; four sisters, Pat (Rick) Beaty of Port Clinton, Hope (Dan) Smith of Galion, Brenda (Tom) Shoemaker of McComb, and Kim (Jaime) Staiger of Galion; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Steve Tolar, and a granddaughter, Mariah Fox.
At her request, no service will be held.
Memorial contributions may be made to Galion Pointe Activity Fund in care of the funeral home.
