Sarah Cabe Obituary
Sarah will be missed for her Sassy Sarah spirit, her smile and her kindness to all she encountered. She was a member of First Assembly of God and loved to go on missions trips. Sarah graduated from Piedmont Charter School in 2015 and from CPCC in December of 2018 and was studying to be a realtor. Sarah loved to travel and adored children.
She is lovingly survived by her parents; sister, Lilli Lorraine Cabe; boyfriend, Matthew Floyd; grandmother, Linda Metcalf; aunt and uncle, Robin and Kevin Rohm; and cousins, Kristin and Jonathan. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Raymond and Sarah Cabe; and grandfather, William Metcalf.
The family will receive friends at First Assembly from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Sunday, June 23, 2019.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, June 24 at First Assembly with Pastor Dennis Boyce officiating. Committal will follow in St. Paul's Lutheran Church Cemetery in Dallas.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Assembly Missions Trip, 777 S Myrtle School Rd, Gastonia, NC 28052.

I remember her from Fraley Baptist, I just found out about Sarah thru my son CJ and I wanted to say how sorry I am for her passing. She was a very nice young lady and as a parent myself, I cant imagine what yall are going thru. JESUS said "IAM the resurrection and the life. June 26, 2019 I am so sorry I just found this out last night. You all are in my prayers and I pray God gives you all peace of mind and heart. Without a doubt Sarah's service was truly a celebration of life! What a beautiful time of worship and remembrance. You all exemplified how we are a people that rejoice with true hope. We do not grieve as those who have lost but as those who have victory in our Lord! That doesn't mean the days ahead will be easy but it does mean that God will continue to be faithful.
May the Lord bless and keep you and make His face to shine upon you and give you peace, comfort, joy and rest.

Sarah has been so busy being an angel here on earth, God was anxious for her to see how He was going to reward her in Heaven. I imagine he couldn't wait any longer, with great anticipation He called her home. She's now reaping the rewards of the great Christian life she lived. She's now basking in the glory of heaven and marveling at streets paved with gold and gates made of solid pearl. We can only imagine how beautiful it is, she is actually experiencing it. Our hearts mourn with the family, but we have relief in knowing that Sarah is in God's care now.

I regret that I never met and did not know Sarah. She would have been a member of our class at the Superior School of Real Estate, which began on Thursday, June 20. On our second day of class on June 21, our instructor sadly informed us about Sarah's death. When I saw her obituary with her lovely photo and her nickname, Sassy Sarah, I smiled and knew I would have liked her when we met in class. I have a son who is older than Sarah and know there are no words to express the pain Sarah's parents are going through. I humbly extend my deepest sympathy to Sarah's parents, her family, and loved ones. I know Sarah will be lovingly remembered by all who knew her and many of us who never had the honor of knowing her.
