Daniel Keith Cabe, 75, of Franklin, NC, passed away Saturday, March 14, 2026. He was born February 3, 1951 in Franklin, NC. Mr. Cabe worked for Cook Brothers Lumber Co; he served in the US Army 82nd Airborne and was a member of Cowee Baptist Church. Daniel loved to ride his Harley motorcycle. He loved his family and his brother and loved being with family and friends and having a good time; he also loved his husky blue heeler mix dog.
Mr. Cabe was preceded in death by his mother, Orphia Cabe; his wife Joyce Parker Cabe, who passed away in 2012; and his sister, Minnie Sue Raby.
Survivors include his daughter, Jennifer Cabe; brother, Donald "Kyle" Cabe; several nieces and nephews; and his husky mix dog "Shiloh".
A funeral service will be held Saturday, March 21, 2026, at 2:00 pm in the Grant Chapel of Bryant-Grant Funeral Home with Rev. Doug Carpenter officiating. Burial will be at Cowee Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jeremy Peterson, Logan Gaily, Jason Ellenberg Jr; Jason Ellenberg, Sr., David Holcombe, and Dustin Cabe. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 2:00 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
