Bryant-Grant Funeral Home and CrematoryJohn Calvin Cabe, 79, of Franklin, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on October 8, 2025 in Kennesaw, GA surrounded by his family. Born on November 5, 1945 in Franklin, North Carolina to Margaret and Carl Cabe, John lived a life dedicated to his family and loved ones. He graduated from Franklin High School before moving to Atlanta, where he was employed by Georgia Power Company for 30 years.
John was a loving Husband, Father and Grandfather, known for his love of going antiquing, or as he called it, "junking" with his family and friends. John was predeceased by his parents and his wife of nine years, Patricia West Cabe. He will be deeply missed by his son, Robert Cabe (Leighanne), stepson Stephen Yonce (Karla), stepdaughter Mary, grandsons Mason and Evan Cabe, granddaughter Claire Yonce, his sister, Laura Shea and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at Bryant Grant Funeral home on Saturday, Feb. 21st from 12-1:30 with a small family graveside service (weather permitting) at 2:00.
