James Rettig Obituary
A prayer vigil is 7 p.m. Sunday, with his funeral service at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Margaret Mary's Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Big Sandy Cemetery. A fellowship luncheon will be held at the church immediately after the graveside services.
Survivors include his wife of seven years, Linda Rettig of Big Sandy; son Shawn Rettig of Rudyard; Shannon Rhyneer of Townsend; stepdaughters Sabrina Sidmore of Troy, Stephanie Hentschel of Havre, Montana; Brandi (Josh) Turney of York, Pennsylvania. four step-grandchildren: Kierstin (Frank) Kosters of Columbia Falls, Mont., and Brian Norman of Okinawa. Jim also was blessed with four step-great grandchildren; sisters Mary Rettig of Missoula, Kim DeLorme of Williston, N.D. and Pam Rettig of Bismarck, N.D.; brothers: Bob Rettig and Ed (Mary) Rettig all of Alexander, North Dakota; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife Terry Rettig in 1995.
