My name is Barbara (Bender) Cross. My dad was Carlton F. Bender, son of William Bender. I believe I am related. I to have fond memories of visiting our family cabin in Little Sturgeon Bay, WI. I remember my great Uncle Carl and we visited them at their cabin which had a sandy beach. We also visited Harriet in DuPere and Geneive and Nealy Bender.

I worked with Bob when I started working for Berner's,Schober and Kilp in 1967. He trained me how to archive drawings, order blueprints and drawings from The Green Bay Blue Print. He was a very nice man who I remembered to this day. He set a great example of how to be a courteous and hard worker. He and his father Carl shared great stories of the outdoors. My condolences on your loss.

I first met Bob at the local truck stop where he and his brother Dick stopped for coffee. He was a wonderful and caring man who we all enjoyed being around. He will be missed greatly.
