Thomas Holliday Obituary
Greenville
Thomas Samuel Holliday, 74, husband of Janet Hood Holliday, passed away Saturday, June 17, 2017.
Born in Pelzer, he was the son of the late William Grady and Ruth Looper Holliday. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and retired from AT&T after forty-five years of service.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Dr. Robert Todd Holliday (Dr. Amy Holliday) of West Union; sisters, Yvonne Miller (Jim) of Seneca, Pearl Tuten (Alan) of Greenville; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a son, William Christopher Holliday and sisters, Doris Shirley and Jean Darity.
A private graveside service will be held Tuesday, June 20, at New Hope Baptist Church, Pelzer.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. at Augusta Road Baptist Church, 1823 Augusta Street, Greenville, SC 29605.
Memorials may be made to Augusta Road Baptist Church, Capital Campaign Fund.

I worked for Tom Holliday at Bellsouth for ten years. He was wise and knowledgable not only with technical advances in electronics but life skills as well. I learned a lot from Tom and I am so very sad of his passing. I just learned of this in 2020!

I have fond memories of Tom; his welcoming spirit and dry sense of humor! I'm afraid he came to know the DDS all too well, thanks to you, Janet, but I think he enjoyed the stories! I truly enjoyed speaking with him and being welcomed into your home, and also on a few official DDS "events". Tom was an accomplished and well respected individual, and he will be sorely missed by many. My deepest condolences. Chris Porter
