Linda and family--We are so sorry to hear that Doug has passed, though I know he has lived his life looking forward to his Heavenly home. We talked about our meeting the rest of your family, and "making up for lost time". I am so thankful that Mike (my brother) wanted me to meet you and Doug, and told me about my family I knew nothing about. He talked a lot about Doug, and he thought the world of him. We are so blessed to have had at least a little time with Doug, and with you. We loved our Facebook comments from Doug---always the witty one! God bless you, and give you peace and comfort in knowing you will be together again one day.

Rest in Peace Brother Doug & Welcome Home .... Yes all of us here will miss you & I will miss your words of wisdom that we traded back & forth on FB on a daily basis ...It is written that we are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord...For we walk by faith, not by sight. 2 Corinthians 5:7,8

You'll be greatly missed brother, but I'm getting closer to our reunion every day. Don't guess I'll get any more free lunches at George's for awhile.
