Brett Bubp

1957 - 2017

BUBP, Brett Daniel "Dan" 60, of Maryville, TN went to be with his Lord on October 13th, 2017. Dan was known by many as having a huge heart and compassion for others, wanting to help in any way he could. He grew up with a passion for people, and for working in automotive repair. His love for cars and people led him to own and run several automotive repair shops throughout his life. He was born on July 23rd, 1957 in St. Mary's, Ohio to Albert D. Bubp and Delores (Wurster) Bubp, and was one of four children. Dan was preceded in death by his father, Albert D. Bubp. He is survived by his beloved children, sons Daniel Joseph Bubp and Kyle Bubp; daughter Staci Bubp; sisters Roxanne Kneisley and Melissa Young; brother Kurt Bubp; mother and best friend Delores A. Bubp; the mother of his children Lisa M. Bubp; and nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. Family and friends are encouraged to attend a celebration of life to be held at the Shelter House, Masonic Home, 2655 W. National Road, Tuesday, October 24th from 5:00-7:00pm. Place of burial will be at Ferncliff Cemetery in Springfield, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, charitable donations may be made to the Brain and Behavior Research Foundation at bbrfoundation.org.
