David, You are so missed here on earth. Lindsay told me that Jake pointed out the brightest star in the sky a few evenings ago and he said "that's my Dad, the brightest star". That is so true, you really were a bright star you know. We miss you so very much. Ricky was right in an earlier post, we have 2 angels. I hope that you are getting to know your brother Maurice, Jr. in heaven. Your sister and brother here on earth love you dearly but he is lucky he will get to know you.

David,
Because your work at the office/ garage, and my own home is with me everyday I open the doors, cabinets or walk on the floors I wonder if and how I will ever get through the pain that I feel. I remember how hard you always worked to do things wright, dedicate the time, please me and prove yourself.
After reading the many entries from the guest books it helps to know that you have left a lasting impression and legacy with the lives you touched. Our family and friends that still continue to help and acknowledge how much they loved you are very comforting as well.
I know you are at peace now and looking over all of us as "our angel" as you use to credit our/your good fortune to the fact that we had an angel looking down over us in our "little brother Maurice Jr."
Your big brother Ricky..
Daddy/Uncle Dave

We are shocked and saddened to hear of Dave's passing. He and Rick are a great team and we loved working with them. A perfectionish, Dave was definitely a true master craftsman! He spoke of his son often and with such love, joy and pride! He will be missed by so many. Our heartfelt condolences to the entire family.

To the Bourgoin Family,
I wish there were something, anything, that could be said to soften the pain and sorrow of David's death. I know there is not. Everyday as I walk around my home I see evidence of his master craftsmanship, his attention to detail, and creativity. I loved to hear him singing, as if no one were listening ( he needed to keep his day job). David had a sense of humor that was full of mischief. I will remember our standard greeting ( we'd flip the bird at one another with a smile) . So now I know he will be teaching things to and learning things from a carpenter in Heaven. I pray for your peace.

David...fun, mischievious and so, so lovable. I will forever cherish the memories of playing football, (amoung other things), with our South Side & MBlvd friends. A girl never forgets the first boy she kisses or the way you sang 'Roxanne' at the top of your lungs...as always, will think of you when I hear that song. Glad we got the chance last summer to reminisce... I saw your lovable spirit hadn't changed. May the image of your big bright smile and fun-loving laugh fill the hearts of your family as they make their way without your physical presence. oxo See you again...

“Davey B” You will never be forgotten, as the sun burns in the sky as to shine forever so will the memories of all the crazy outrageous times that we have shared together from our childhood to our last sport on the scoots last week. We love you bro, goodbye for now but not forever. I will see you on the other side…
