Carrie Hovanesian Obituary

HOVANESIAN, Carrie Carrie Hovanesian, 90, joined her husband Martin "Marty" Hovanesian after passing away on Saturday, (Sept. 24, 2005). Mrs. Hovanesian was born in Bristol on September 29, 1914 a daughter of the late Enrico and Mamie (Deangelis) Fiorillo. Carrie, a lifelong Bristol resident and member of St. Anthony Church, worked for both Superior Electric and New Departure Hyatt. She was a dedicated care giver to her family and had a passion for Big Band dancing, and won many competitions with her husband Marty. Carrie and Marty also enjoyed wintering in Florida every winter. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Martin and Janice Hovanesian, Jr. of Bristol and her daughter, Carmel Musumano of Bristol; her grandchildren, Jeffrey and his wife Gisele Musumano, Gregory and his wife Chevaun Musumano, Dina and her husband Paul Radcliffe and Jesse Hovanesian; thirteen great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She was predeceased by her brothers and sisters, Josephine, Mary, Tony and "Bub". Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2005 at 9 a.m. from O'Brien Funeral Home, 24 Lincoln Ave., Forestville to St. Anthony Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 5-8 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to: St. Anthony Church Development Fund, 111 School St., Bristol CT 06010.
