To the Mendillo Family,
Mr. Mendillo was my 5th grade teacher a Norton School and was by far one of my favorites! Not only did he teach us, he cared about us, joked with us, and respected us. One of my memories was watching the 1969 World Series during recess and breaks! I also remember his daughters coming on field trips with us. I had the pleasure of seeing him again at a CEA function after I had started my own teaching career and I was able to tell him how he inspired me to go into teaching. Always know that his memory will be kept alive at CHS reunions where the Norton gang inevitably gets around to reminiscing about our great teachers. My condolences on your loss--Mr Mendillo was a true educator!

To the Mendillo family- I stopped short when I saw Mr. Mendillo's picture today, as I remember him as my 4th grade teacher in 1959-60 at Darcey in Cheshire. A good teacher- energetic, a good role model for mischievous boys- lots of dark hair! I have good memories, and I wish you the same.
