77, of Johnston, passed away at her home on Sunday, December 28, 2025. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Roger and Rose (Galotto) Kemplin. She was a beloved individual whose warmth, spirit, and sense of style left a lasting impression on the lives of those around her.
Penny was a devoted Christian whose faith guided her through life with grace and purpose. She had a passion for connecting with others, whether it was through lively family gatherings or casual outings with friends. Known affectionately as the fun and fashionable Aunt, Penny brought joy to every occasion, showcasing her keen sense of fashion and love for jewelry. She enjoyed shopping and had an eye for the perfect pieces that echoed her vibrant personality.
Her days were often spent enjoying the serenity of the beach, cooking delightful meals for her loved ones, and cherishing moments with her grand dogs.
Penny is survived by her sister, Sandra Romanelli; her two nieces, Deborah and Lori; her nephew, Paul; as well as many great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.
A visitation in her honor will take place on Saturday, January 10, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, followed by a prayer service starting at 5:00 PM at Nardolillo Funeral Home, located at 1278 Park Ave, Cranston, RI.
