Marcia Trapp Obituary



Marcia A. (Feeley) Trapp, 80, of Vernon, beloved wife of the late Charles W. Trapp, Jr. passed away, Monday, January 13, 2014. She was born September 4, 1933 in Hartford, the daughter of the late John and Alice (O'Neil) Feeley. She was the owner and operator of Chic's Restaurant which her husband established 70 years ago. She was a member of the Rockville Elks Club and a communicant of St. Bernard's Church. She is survived by her children, Kevin Trapp and Tara Trapp both of Vernon, and her beloved dog Seamus; and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are welcome to join the family from 5 to 7 PM on Thursday, January 16, 2014 at the Small & Pietras Funeral Home, 65 Elm St. Rockville, CT 06066. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9 AM on Friday, January 17, 2014 at St. Bernard's Church, 25 St. Bernard Terrace, Rockville, CT 06066. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St Bernard's Church, Rockville. For on line condolences please visit www.pietrasfuneralhome.com.

MY SINCERE SYMPATHY TO MARCIA'S FAMILY.
WE GREW UO TOGETHER ON EAST MAIN STREET,AND WAS ONE OF OUR "GANG"..SHE WAS VERY SPECIAL.
I WOULD ALWAYS TRAVEL BACK EAST FROM TEXAS TO VISIT MY FAMILY AT CRYSTAL LAKE ,AND ALWAYS STOPPED IN AT CHIC'S
FOR A GREAT BREAKFAST/LUNCH.
WE HAD AMAZING ADVENTURES,PLAYING IN GIANT SNOWPILES THAT THE SNOW-PLOWS LEFT ON EAST MAIN ST. I ALSO RECALL MEETING HER DAUGHTER AT CHIC'S.
MARCIA WAS "ONE OF A KIND" !!!!
