Brian Barnes Obituary
Brian N. Barnes, 66, of Longs, SC, died on Monday, Oct. 23, 2017 surrounded by family and friends. He was the beloved husband of Gloria Avino-Barnes. He was a long-time resident of Rhode Island and Connecticut prior to retiring from his 30+ year career as a supervisor at UTC. In addition to his wife, Brian is survived by his loving children Kimberly and Ryan Prins, Kelly and Warren Sipuleski Jr., Jason and Sara Barnes, Viana Barnes and Kyle Barnes as well as his four grandchildren. He is also survived by his step-children Lisa Robinson, Melanie Rodriguez, Hilda Avino and Carmen Quinones and their families. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, Oct. 26 at 10:00 a.m. at Myrtle Beach Funeral Home in Myrtle Beach. Messages can be sent to the family at www.myrtlebeachfuneralhome.com. Brian, I will miss you. You were always the one who called me after your brother Clay passed away 2 years ago. I was looking forward to having you and Gloria visit me this coming winter. You were always fun to be around and helpful too. I remember you visiting us after open heart surgery to find you helping in the garden when you should have been resting. You raised some wonderful children, who will miss you dearly. Rest in peace.
